James Alexander McInnes is an award winning comedy writer and performer that despite his humble beginnings on the mean streets of suburban Scotland has been on stage and screen consistently for the last ten years whilst living in London. Alongside his acting writing/acting career he is an enthusiastic amateur at both Stand-Up comedy and Stand-Up paddleboarding, he would be verily happily go pro at either.

Credits wise he has worked over a dozen times with Secret Cinema in Star Wars, The Shawshank Redemption and their first international show, Casino Royale in Shanghai. His immersive background also includes The Crystal Maze Live!, Alice’s Adventures Underground and Sherlock: The Game is Now! He has performed with the Merely Players and at the Petersfield Shakespeare Festival.

Most recently he has appeared on TV in adverts for Lidl, Nivea and Gutfried.

He happens to be a superb chef and owns a miniature short haired Dachshund named Parker.
