Sophia Priolo

Sophia is a London based, American/Italian/Scottish actor and classically trained dancer. She is a graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and a certified fighter with the British Academy of Dramatic Combat. Often referred to as “a Steel Magnolia, with a hint of English Rose” Sophia has enjoyed leading roles in Shakespeare’s Measure For Measure, Hamlet, Twelfth Night, Romeo & Juliet, Henry VIII, Richard II, and Taming of the Shrew, as well as in musicals such as Camelot, Light in the Piazza, Jane Eyre, Guys & Dolls, Ragtime, The Desert Song, The Scarlet Pimpernel, and Janie Dee’s Beautiful World Cabaret, and in plays such as Hedda Gabler, Noises Off, and Steel Magnolias. Sophia’s work as an actor has been seen on stages including the London Coliseum, Minack Theatre, Charing Cross Theatre, Jermyn Street Theatre, Arcola Theatre, Embassy Theatre, Crazy Coqs, Reading Abbey Ruins, and Queen Dome (Edinburgh), as well as the world renowned Alabama Shakespeare Festival in United States.
As a choreographer and movement director, Sophia has worked internationally on such shows as Chicago (musical), Macbeth, Hamlet (opera), Die Fledermaus, Don Pasquale, and La traviata, on stages including the Willow Globe, Opera Birmingham (USA), Opera Holland Park, Opera de Lausanne, Opera de Toulon, and Opera de Nice.
Sophia can also be seen in the Bridgerton + Flonase + Netflix collaboration advert, The Talk of the Ton, which won Overall Winner and Audience Honor in the 17th Annual Shorty Awards.
