Joe Grew up in Essex and graduated from Drama Centre London. Before coming to Drama Centre he trained at Elmhurst School for Dance, and on weekends took classes at the Royal Ballet School on their associates program. Whilst at Drama Centre he worked on “This Restless House” written By Zinnie Harris, a contemporary adaptation of The Oresteia, as well as “Pains of Youth” adapted by Martin Crimp. He also worked on the short film “Truth Serum” (AnfanTerrible).

As a Dancer, Joe toured internationally with Four X Four (Gandini juggling) a fusion of dance and physical theatre. It premiered at the Linbury Theatre (Royal Opera House) He has also worked in the corps de ballet of Swan Lake at the Royal Albert Hall (English National Ballet) When Joe was 11 he performed on “Children in Need” as a member of the choir for Martin McCutcheon’s single “Love me”.
