Marco Quaglia is an Anglo-Italian actor, British mother, Italian father.  Until the age of 14 everyone called him Marc.  He then switched to Italian school and became Marco!

After graduating from Italy’s Academia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica (Italy’s RADA) he was cast as a regular on Incantesimo, a TV series for RAI.  He was on the show for 5 years.  He worked on film with the likes of Cristina Comencini, Citto Maselli, and Anthony Minghella.

While living in New York he plated Bartleby in “Bartleby the Scrivener” alongside the wonderful Gerry Bamman.  Back on stage in Italy he was the lead in Harrogate, a play by Al Smith and in Snowflake by Mike Bartlett.

He played Antonio Giustiniani in 6 episodes of Borgia created by Tom Fantana.  He was in actor James D’Arcy’s first film, Made in Italy.  He finished a successful run at the Piccolo Teatro di Milano with acclaimed director Liv Ferracchiati and just wrapped a six episode Netflix series called Adorazione.

Lives between Rome and London, his mother tongues are English and Italian, and he is fluent in French.  He loves costume dramas and cutting edge plays by young writers.
