Paulina Szarek is a Polish-born actress based in Edinburgh. She trained at the Italia Conti in London and graduated in 2020.

She can be seen as Sister Agnieszka in ‘We Were the Lucky Ones’ (2024) on Disney+ and Hulu, a new limited series set during WW2 in Poland.

Most recently, she played the lead Weronika in ‘Chickens’ directed by Ben Harrison (Grid Iron) at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2025, opposite Owen Whitelaw.

Paulina is a Lilian Baylis Award recipient and James McAvoy scholar.
