Phoebe Batteson-Brown is an ArtsEd trained actress, with a natural flair for comedy, big characters and silly voices.
She was recently described by the Guardian for her portrayal of Perdita Gresham-Booth in her co-written production, Right Dishonourable Friend, as ‘Archly comic’.
Screen credits include the lead role of Sasha in feature film, Early Bird, Sarah in a commercial for OKX trading, Heidi Hauser in the Autopsy the Last Hours Of Chris Farley for ITV, HER in Vows with Milk In First Productions.
Stage credits include, Right Dishonourable Friend (VAULT Festival), The Good Landlord (The Arcola Theatre/VAULT Festival), Puss in Boots with award winning theatre company Fat Rascal Theatre (Drayton Arms), The Snow Queen (The Arts Theatre), Offie nominated Sheltered (The Chiswick Playhouse), and 3 runs of critically acclaimed NewsRevue, the longest running live comedy sketch show in the UK (Canal Cafe Theatre/Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2021, The Pleasance).
While performing her first run of NewsRevue in 2017, she met her comedy partner, Miztli Rose, and formed the now award winning sketch duo, LADYLIKES. They are Soho Theatre Young Company alumni and their filmed sketches have been official selections and won numerous film festivals globally. Their debut show ‘Top secret House Party’ was a ‘Top Pick’ of the Edinburgh Fringe 2019 in the British Comedy Guide and was transferred to the Soho Theatre.
Phoebe is also an experienced immersive theatre actress having performed in the likes of Whitechapel: Suspects, Lunatics and a Leather Apron with Apocalypse Events and The Hollow Hotel with DifferencEngine.
She is also a seasoned role play actress having worked for the Surrey Police Force, The British Red Cross, the NHS with Different Duck, and mediation company, CEDR.
Phoebe has also been a voiceover artist for the last 10 years with her own home studio, with clients including Wizarding World, for their viral video series, Discover Harry Potter, Lilith Games with Rise of Kingdoms, The British Library and VFX company, NVIS.
Phoebe is a self confessed crazy cat lady, and proud of it.
