Polina Pisartsova

In 2025, Polina graduated with a Master of Arts in Musical Theatre with Distinction from the Royal Academy of Music. Her credits include: Maria Shamreyeva (Masha) in The Seagull (dir. Jaz Woodcock-Stewart); multiple roles in the cabaret The Last Twenty-Five Years (dir. Matt Ryan, md. Daniel Bowling); Adele Rice, Miss Oona Crowe, and Mrs. Margaret Grace in A Man of No Importance (dir. Hugo Chiarella); a solo performance of “What Was I Made For?” in the RAM Industry Showcase (dir. Jonathan Butterell, md. Martin Lowe); and Carla Albanese/Ensemble in the final musical Nine (dir. Hannah Chiswick, md. Gabriel Margolis/ Sofia Tuovila).
She was also awarded the prestigious Hammond Prize for Poetry, adjudicated by renowned director John Caird.

Polina also holds a Distinction Star in the RSL Level 3 Diploma in Popular Music Performance from the BIMM Institute in London, where she trained in various genres of pop and rock music.

She also completed the Junior Musical Theatre course at the Royal Academy of Music, performing at Wilton’s Music Hall and in the final showcase at the Susie Sainsbury Theatre. That same year, she became a finalist in the West End Calling competition at the Arts Theatre in London.

In her home country of Ukraine, Polina took part in over 50 vocal competitions, including The Voice Kids 3 and reaching the final round of the national selection for Junior Eurovision 2018/2019. She also performed at international vocal festivals across Europe—becoming a finalist in the Sanremo Junior (Italy) and winning Grand Prix awards at Vistula Sounds (Poland) and Slavic Vinets (Bulgaria). She has released six original songs, each with accompanying music videos shared on her social media.

Alongside her musical work, Polina completed a year-long online course in Film and Television Directing at the Ukrainian National University of Culture and Arts. She used this training to film a short documentary about a Ukrainian opera student also studying at the Royal Academy of Music.
