Romy graduated from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), in 2021. It was there she fell in love with the art of movement, character creation and collaboration. During her time at drama school, she performed in Alice Birch’s ‘Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again’ and ‘Cloud 9’ by Caryl Churchill. Straight out of LIPA, Romy went onto work with Tmesis Theatre, as part of their training company, to devise and perform an ensemble movement piece for Liverpool’s Physical Festival. 

As well as acting, Romy is an accomplished artist and portrait painter. At 17 she was a contestant on Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2019, where she painted notable actor Stephen Graham. Her portraits also feature in Aviary Films interactive feature film ‘The Gallery’ which releases in 2022.
